In order to practice medicine in the United States of America, eligible candidates must take the USMLE Step1, USMLE Step2 CK, and the USMLE Step2 CS. International eligible candidates must complete USMLE Step1, USMLE Step2 CK, and the USMLE Step2 CS in order be eligible for an ECFMG certificate.

The purpose of the Alpha Med Omega (AMO) USMLE courses is to prepare student(s) for the specific exam. Therefore, AMO does not issue grades, track academic progress or award degrees or diplomas at course completion.

USMLE STEP 1
  • 40 item per block.
  • Sixty minutes per block.
  • 192 is the minimum passing score.
  • An eight hours Exam, Seven blocks.
  • Total of 280 multiple choice questions.
  • It tests basic science component with clinical correlation.
  • 45 minutes of break time and a 15- minute optional tutorial.
  • Computer-based, one-day exam, multiple choice questions.

  • Computer-based, one-day exam, multiple choice questions.
  • It tests medical knowledge and understanding of clinical science.

  • Perform physical examinations (ICE)

Score reported as a Pass/Fail.
